Delivery information
The minimum delivery is 150 gallons. A 100-gallon delivery is available with a $25 delivery fee. Customers with an outdoor oil tank can also ask about anti-gel treatment. Driveways must be clear of snow and ice so drivers can determine that access is safe.
Payment methods
Check Oil accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover through the office. Check or cash may be given directly to the driver at delivery.
Budget plan
The budget plan spreads heating costs across monthly installments with no enrollment fee. Automatic deductions may be scheduled for the first or fifteenth of each month. Call for enrollment details and the current agreement.
Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)
New York's HEAP program helps eligible low-income households with heating costs. Eligibility, benefit levels, opening dates, and application procedures are set by New York State and can change by program year. Check Oil accepts HEAP benefits.
- New York advises applicants to gather proof of residency, identification, household-income documentation, and a current fuel or utility bill.
- Residents outside New York City may apply online through myBenefits when the heating-assistance season is open, in person through a local district contact, or by mail.
- Contact the local HEAP district or New York State for eligibility and application decisions; Check Oil cannot determine program eligibility.
